Kim and I had a lovely dinner together. We talked and told stories. She winced at the woman behind me who was chewing with her mouth open and smacking her lips. I even hear she was sucking the food off her fingers. Disgusting.
We finally drank the wine that I got from a colleague for christmas. It was well worth the wait.
I know Kim is thinking of ways around the TV ban, but I am loving the quality time. I finally got a blog up and running on our site and I am actually updating it frequently (thus this post). I figured out how to get MySQL set up on the site, too!
I’m hoping for a rousing game of backgammon to complete the night, but it is looking like the NYT crosswords will win out.

You are kind…we actually drank the “replacement” of the bottle of wine you got for Christmas. I seem to remember the holy hell I received for drinking the original (by accident) while you were in Chicago. It was a lovely dinner. If we do this every night, I’ll make it through (but, we’ll have to delay retirement for a year $$$)
